śabda – finding your voice in yoga practice
A Yoga Australia in-person event in WA – Fremantle
About this event:
As our late teacher Mr. TKV Desikachar always said, yoga is about connection, and our voice is certainly one of the most powerful ways to connect with ourself, and the world around us. Discover and explore the power of sound (śabda) and the many ways it can be woven into practice alongside the more commonly known tools of yoga such as posture, breath, meditation and visualisation. There will be two insightful practices led by Valerie Fimat-Faneco and Sally Riddell, both Senior Teachers, Yoga Therapists, and Vedic Chanting Teachers with decades of experiences in chanting and teaching. This event is free for Yoga Australia members and 64.50$ for non-members. Spaces are limited to 30 so book early!
